OwndaysHub – Cookie Settings Guide

Purpose: OwndaysHub (the internal company website/intranet) requires cookies to be enabled in your browser for login sessions, saved preferences, and page functionality to work correctly. If you’re having trouble logging in, staying logged in, or loading certain pages, check your cookie settings using the steps below.

Google Chrome

  1. Open Chrome and click the three-dot menu (top right) → Settings.
  2. Go to Privacy and securityCookies and other site data.
  3. Select “Allow all cookies”, or if your organization restricts third-party cookies, choose “Block third-party cookies in Incognito” (do not choose “Block all cookies”).
  4. If cookies are blocked site-by-site, scroll to “Sites that can always use cookies” → click Add → enter the OwndaysHub URL → Add.
  5. Refresh the OwndaysHub page and log in again.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Edge and click the three-dot menu → Settings.
  2. Go to Cookies and site permissionsManage and delete cookies and site data.
  3. Ensure “Allow sites to save and read cookie data” is turned ON.
  4. Under “Allow”, click Add and enter the OwndaysHub URL to always allow it.
  5. Refresh the page and log in again.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open Firefox and click the three-line menu → Settings.
  2. Go to Privacy & Security.
  3. Under Enhanced Tracking Protection, choose Standard (Strict mode can block session cookies needed for login).
  4. Under Cookies and Site Data, click Manage Exceptions → add the OwndaysHub URL → Allow.
  5. Refresh the page and log in again.

Safari (macOS)

  1. Open Safari → Settings (or Preferences) → Privacy.
  2. Uncheck “Prevent cross-site tracking” if OwndaysHub fails to keep you logged in, or add OwndaysHub as an allowed site if that option is available in your Safari version.
  3. Make sure “Block all cookies” is unchecked.
  4. Refresh the page and log in again.

General Troubleshooting

If you’ve enabled cookies but still face issues:

  • Clear the browser cache and cookies specifically for the OwndaysHub domain, then try logging in again.
  • Try an incognito/private window to rule out extension conflicts (ad blockers or privacy extensions sometimes block session cookies).
  • Confirm your browser is up to date, as outdated versions may handle cookie permissions differently.
  • If the issue persists, contact IT support with your browser name/version and a screenshot of the error.
